Medical Tracking Solutions Continues to Grow Client Roster

Company's system provides real-time tracking of medical devices and biologics.

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Medical Tracking Solutions Inc. is adding to its client roster.

The company develops the iTraycer inventory management system. The company has added AccelSPINE, IQ Surgical and InnoVision Inc. to the list of orthopedic companies using its technology. iTraycer is a comprehensive inventory management system that provides real-time tracking of medical devices and biologics—visible by part, lot and serial numbers—from manufacturer to patient.

AccelSPINE is a medical device company based in Dallas, Texas. IQ Surgical is a medical device distributor operating from Tulsa, Okla. InnoVision located in Memphis, Tenn., is also an orthopedic medical device company.

“As a distributor, we are very careful with every dollar we spend,” said Jay Krottinger, chief operating officer of IQ Surgical. “The iTraycer system allowed us to deliver cutting-edge technology to our reps and our home office at a cost that was recovered in months instead of years.”

“We are very excited to work with our three new customers. Our product, iTraycer, is designed to help medical device companies increase their profitability,” said Jonathan Tillman, senior vice president of business development. “Through improved sales efficiency, advanced inventory control, increased operational effectiveness, and enhanced financial accountability, iTraycer can deliver a 2- to 4-percent boost to the bottom line.”

AccelSPINE President and Chief Executive Officer Daniel Chon said iTracer allowed his company to bring its processes “into the 21st century, while making us more efficient and greatly enhancing visibility into our inventory and sales team’s performance.”

Medical Tracking Solutions, a team of medical device industry experts, developed iTraycer to meet the day-to-day challenges of medical device companies. The system’s multifunctional software is designed to facilitate communication and collaboration across a firm’s inventory network and enable companies to make critical, fact-based decisions with real-time information. iTraycer, according to company officials, also ensures compliance by addressing the traceability requirements of Unique Device Identification regulations.
